GCSE Exam Results 2025
Posted on: 21/08/2025Exceptional GCSE Results Celebrate Academic Excellence and School Values
Students and staff at Chertsey High School are celebrating another year of exceptional GCSE results, with our pupils once again demonstrating dedication, resilience, and academic excellence.
We are immensely proud of the achievements of all our students, who have worked tirelessly throughout their GCSE courses and thoroughly deserve the results they have received. Their success reflects not only their hard work, but also the unwavering support of their teachers, families, and peers.
A particular highlight this year is the performance of our Head Girl, Shayeri Sharma, who has personified the school’s values in every aspect of her journey. Shayeri secured grade 9s in all her subjects. Her consistent dedication to academic excellence, her leadership within the school community, and her embodiment of our core values make her a truly inspirational role model to her peers and younger students alike.
We are also delighted to celebrate the success of Larisa Spasovska, who achieved an outstanding seven grade 9s, an A in Additional Mathematics, and three grade 8s.
Jake McBride has also achieved a fantastic set of results, with six grade 9s, an A in Additional Mathematics, two grade 8s, and two grade 7s.
These individual achievements sit within a wider picture of success across the cohort. Our students have shown a strong commitment to their learning, embracing challenges, and supporting one another along the way. Whether through academic ambition, creative pursuits, or personal growth, each student has demonstrated the values at the heart of our school community.
Headteacher Mary Gould commented:
“We are incredibly proud of all our students. These results are not just a reflection of academic success, but of the character, determination, and maturity our students have shown during their GCSE years. They have risen to every challenge, supported each other, and grown into confident, capable young people. We also thank our dedicated staff, who go above and beyond every day to ensure each student achieves their full potential.”
As our students look ahead to their next steps—whether that be A levels, vocational training, or other pathways—we wish them every success. They leave their GCSE journey not only with excellent results, but with the values, skills, and confidence to thrive in the future.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025. We are proud of each and every one of you.
