Traveller absence

All traveller absence should be requested 48 hours beforehand by emailing the attendance email. Parents and carers must be contactable on the phone every day the child is away from school. The child MUST return to school on the agreed date.  

Information required for all planned absence requests:

  • Name of student
  • Year and Tutor Group
  • First day of absence
  • Date returning to school
  • Total number of days out of school
  • Reason for absence request
  • Please confirm if your child has already had a leave of absence this academic year; if so provide dates and details
  • Please attach evidence of medical appointment / flight ticket / fair poster etc
  • Confirm your name and relationship to the student
