Digital Learning

At Chertsey High School, digital learning is not about technology for technology's sake. It is about ensuring every pupil has the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Guided by our core values of Knowledge, Determination and Love, we believe technology should enhance learning, strengthen relationships and remove barriers to success. As part of Bourne Education Trust's BET Connects programme, we are committed to using technology and artificial intelligence thoughtfully, safely and purposefully to improve outcomes for all pupils. Digital learning is embedded in the quality of our teaching, the design of our curriculum and the experiences we provide beyond the classroom. It is not an additional initiative; it is an important part of preparing young people for life beyond school.

 

As a Wave Two school within Bourne Education Trust's BET Connects Digital Transformation Programme, we are implementing a shared vision for digital learning across our school.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Development • Develops pupils' understanding of AI and its role in society.

• Explores ways AI can improve efficiency and support high-quality teaching.
Data and Systems • Uses connected digital systems to improve communication.
